Flight Over Mount Meringue

The Meringue Mountain Range

The Meringue Mountain Range (so-named for it’s remarkable resemblance to dreamy meringue topping) is a remote area of snow-covered glaciers and high-altitude peaks located in a seldom visited part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

In this short video, you will have an incredible flying adventure. Experience the thrill of a close-up aerial flyover of the famed Mount Meringue—the highest peak in the Meringue Mountain Range. In this exciting flight, you will see rare, never before seen aerial footage of the fabled Meringue Mountaintops.

(O.K. So maybe it’s not a mountain range. Maybe it’s really my delicious homemade Flapper Pie topped with meringue, fresh out of the oven. Flapper Pie was arguably my all time childhood favourite treat. My Mom made it a lot when I was a kid and I still love it today. It’s a vanilla custard pie with a graham wafer crust and a dreamy meringue topping. Delicious at any altitude.)

Just having a bit of fun.

  1. I thought we were going to crash at one stage, you would have had egg on your face then. I made a homage to you last night, a cherry milkshake made with real cherries blitzed, ice cream, a splash of milk and Disaronno. It was awesome

    • Ha…ha… I WISH I could crash into that meringue! And, oh, Mark! I love Disaronno! It’s undoubtedly my favourite liqueur. But I have never thought of adding it to a cherry milkshake! You are a culinary genius! I wish you could send one over, we’re about to have another heat wave here! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week ahead! :))

  2. It’s your delicious sense of humor, it’s a real delight this Mount Meringue, *
It remains no more than a few crumbs … :D
    Thank you very much Jeannie.
I wish you a good day.

  3. Wow, Jeannie, that was a fantastic flight! I wanted to jump off the plane and sink into the soft fluffy meringue and custard pillow below! :D

  4. OMG… PERFECT meringue! Stiff peaks while not overbeaten (Is that a word?)… or is it overbeated? LOL Now you got me thinking lemon meringue! But darn, my kids won’t be back for more than two weeks…so can I have some of your “flapper pie” while I wait??
